General Users

The Chamber for Shoppers is the type of account meant for general users who support black businesses. Anyone can create a The Chamber for Shoppers account through the sign up process on the website or mobile app. The Chamber for Business is soley for black business owners to create their business profile which will be included in the directory.

The easiest way to connect with friends and to follow your favorite business is to create a The Chamber for Shoppers account. Once you create an account you will be able to see other The Chamber users online as well as bookmark your favorite businesses.

You will be prompted to enable Location Services on your mobile device once you download the app. If you need to activate this feature, go into your phone's settings and under the The Chamber app you will be able to enable location services.

You can enable or disable the push notifications from the The Chamber app inside of the app under the settings tab. You can also disable or enable push notifications in the phone's settings.

The The Chamber app wants to help make it easy for you to let others know about the app. We therefore ask for access to your contacts so that you can easily invite them through the "Invite Friends" tab.
Business Owners

You can create a The Chamber for Business account by signing up online or by downloading the The Chamber for Business app. Once you complete your profile, your business will be populated into the directory.

The Chamber business post can be created by signing into your web or mobile app account and selecting the, create a post option. You will need to designate the zip code you want to target, a title for the post, a brief description, and attach a graphic for your post. You also have the option of providing an external url link to the post for users to click.

The Chamber Business School videos are free and accessible once you create your The Chamber for Business account. Videso can be viewed in the seller account for both the mobile and website, The Chamber for Business.

Once your The Chamber for Business account is created, you can upgrade your account type by subscribing for $25/mo to have the The Chamber team manager your social media. You can sign up on both the mobile and website The Chamber for Business accounts.

You can reply to reviews inside of the The Chamber for Business app once a review has been created.

Reviews can not be deleted. However, if a review is in violation of our privacy policy or terms of use, you can request to have the review removed.

You can promote your business on The Chamber by creating a business post or by creating a short form marketing video through the mobile app.
